Celebrate World Teachers’ Day, October 5

October 5 is World Teachers’ Day and we’re inviting Ontarians to celebrate by sharing the best qualities of a favourite teacher on social media, using #GreatTeachersAre.

Between September 30 and October 5, the College will share the stories of award-winning Ontario teachers on social media. Inspired by Ontario teachers’ ethical standards of care, trust, respect and integrity, we’ll highlight those teachers’ best qualities. We invite the public to do the same for their own great teachers.

Is there a teacher who stands out in your memory as particularly caring, dedicated or determined? Maybe they were especially creative, resourceful or kind. Whatever that teacher’s strengths, celebrate them leading up to October 5.
