Focus on Teaching survey now available for Ontario Certified Teachers

The College’s second annual Focus on Teaching survey has been distributed to all Ontario Certified Teachers (OCTs) in good standing. The survey will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, November 4.

OCTs can access the survey by following the instructions in an email sent to them by Forum Research Inc.

The Focus on Teaching survey is the only survey that is available to all OCTs in good standing. It will gather data about a variety of topics, including labour mobility and demographics. Data gathered by the survey will be anonymized, aggregated then sent to the College. The data will inform a College report that will be available to the public on our website next year.

The survey was developed in partnership with Forum Research Inc. and TCI Management Consultants following initial consultations with seventeen education system leaders, including federations, school board associations, and the Ministry of Education. There were also significant contributions from OCTs who participated in focus groups over the summer.
